Filmmaker, Photographer, Storyteller
Rowan Spiers-Floyd is an independent filmmaker and storyteller based in Portland, Oregon. Enchanted by the storytelling power of film since childhood, he uses thoughtful production design and cinematography to create rich, dark, and strange new worlds for his audience.
He has worked professionally in the film industry for over seven years, exploring the different facets and departments of production. He has a BFA in Digital Film & Video and has won multiple awards for his work including his film “Pelt” which won the Oregon Gold Award for student films.
"Rowan knows how to direct a project with ease and poise. He can work within a shoestring budget, and still, produce a piece with artistic excellence. "
We've used Rowan for video work for three seasons now, and I'm confident in recommending him as a director or DP to darn near anybody for long or short form work. He's a mature professional that respects collaboration and deadlines, and he brings a lot to the party.

"He's always a delight to have on set, not just because of his fantastic skills as an, 2nd AD, 1st AD, or Director but also because his positive and collaborative attitude is infectious. He has a real passion for the craft of filmmaking and it truly shows in his work."
